geOShell Registry Settings

Setting up geOShell involves using the registry, so heres the usual "use at your own risk" warning.

Anyway, here's the basic configuration options and what to do with them. If you don't put in any wild values it's pretty impossible to do any harm, so have a go.

Start out by opening RegEdit and going to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\geO\geOShell] because thats the main key where geOShell's settings are stored. Now, onto the contents of the keys in there...

Plugins

Shows settings for your plugins. The readmes of your plugins should tell you about these.

Services/Desktop - all in pixels

These are used to set the Desktop area used with maximised windows. They can be used to stop windows overlapping your geOBars.
Desktop Top - distance from top for desktop to start
Desktop Left - distance from left for desktop to start
Desktop Bottom - distance from bottom for desktop to start
Desktop Right - distance from top right desktop to start
Set Desktop Area - total area of your desktop

Services/Launch

Sets the startup options for each item, pretty obvious. To revert to standard settings use "standard" as the value in, apart from:
ShowSplashScreen - 1 to show the screen, 0 for no splash screen.

Services/Plugins/geOBar(x)

Stores the settings for each of the geOBars, such as the plugins in each and other settings for each bar as follows:
AlwaysOnTop - 1 for yes, 0 for no.
AutoHide - as above
AutoStart - as above
Left - distance in pixels from the left of your screen.
Orientation - 1 for vertical, 0 for horizontal. Note: Change your quick launch, menu and systray (in ShellUI/Orientation) to 1 below for this to work best, or indeed OK at all really.
Top - distance in pixels from top of screen.

ShellUI/Custom Colors

Stores the geOBar colours in RRR,GGG,BBB format. Descriptions should be OK to get you going!

ShellUI/Orientation

bar - unknown as yet - mail me and tell me
menu - 1 for vertical, 0 for horizontal. Note: Set Orientation above to 1 for this to be OK.

systray - as above
