About geOShell.

geOShell is a program to replace your shell in Windows, usually this is Explorer. Technically called a Win32 shell replacement, it basically means that it will work on Win95, 98 and NT4. It's free so downlaod it now, from the bar on the right.

It is programmed by Geoff Elliot, and has loads of plugins, to customise your desktop.

One of the main advantages of geOShell is that it is faster than explorer, meaning your programs will (probably) run faster. I have noticed a definite speed increase, especially in games.

geOShell is set up through the registry, but don't worry as you can download a control panel applet to configure it or GeoConfig which gives you a program to do it from. Grab them from the Plugins page. For info on the registry keys see the Setup section.

You can easily change the colours used. Several schemes are in the zip, for more see the Themes page.For my current bar, look at Contact Me.
